What inspired you to run for Council?

I’m a father of five kids and have been a proud Frankston resident all my life. I have raised my family in Frankston. I do care what happens in the City of Frankston and I care a lot. I live here – my kids live here.

What are you top areas of focus for the next four years?

  • Ensuring that our annual kerbside hard rubbish collection is retained and tip vouchers are introduced with our rates notices
  • A focus on delivery of basic Council services and strategies, evidence based decision making and value for our rates.
  • Provide free self-defence classes for women at my own expense
  • Develop a Frankston town centre that we can be proud of.

What do you believe are your strongest qualities?

A willingness to work with my fellow councillors no matter who they are.

A passion for good governance, integrity and evidence-based decision making.

What do I love most about the local area?

We have so much here - bush, beach, restaurants, sporting fields, but most of all community. Some incredible people living right here in Frankston doing great work such as volunteering, coaching kids for footy and cricket unpaid. Hats off to them all.

Q) Have you been vaccinated against COVID-19

A) I have received the double dosage of vaccination against COVID-19. Vaccination is the best way of protecting yourself, loved ones and your community against COVID-19. Safe and effective vaccines are free for everyone in Australia, including those who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents. To access our services and venues you will need to show proof of your vaccination status. You can do this by linking your vaccination certificate with the Service Victoria app, ready for use when you check in. For more information on how to link your certificate, visit the Service Victoria website.
