This workshop is organised by Volunteering Frankston, and will be facilitated by Hazel from Volunteering Victoria. This session covers an overview of volunteering in Australia. It outlines the social and wellbeing benefits of beginning in a volunteer role.

Information for Volunteer Opportunities will also be available following the session.

• Volunteering – what is it?
• Health and Wellbeing benefits
• Planning and getting started in volunteering
• Rights and responsibilities for volunteers

If you are unable to attend this session, Volunteering Frankston’s volunteer Carole can also assist you at our monthly Drop-In Session in the Frankston Library on Friday 12th June from 10am – 1pm (Playne Street Meeting Room).
