Karingal PLACE
Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre owned and operated by Frankston City Council and is a multi-service children's and family services hub located in the heart of Karingal.
The centre offers many services including:
- U3A (University of the Third Age)
- Maternal Child Health
- Parent Education Sessions
- Immunisations
- Paediatric Outpatients Clinic
- Community Kinders Plus – Karingal PLACE Kindergarten
- Frankston City Library and Story Time
- Specialist workshops
- Youth Hangouts
- Community Playgroup and Supported Playgroup
- Community Programs including Chatty Café, Agestrong and Men’s Social Group.

U3A (University of the Third Age) is also located at Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre and offers a broad range of programs for people over 50 and not in full time employment.

Maternal Child Health & Immunisation Services

The central booking line is available Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm.
Stadium Hire
Our multipurpose indoor stadium can be adapted to suit many sports, including basketball, martial arts and karate. The stadium is available for hire after 4.00pm weeknights and on weekends. Priority is given to local community groups and not for profit organisations. We are unable to cater for birthday parties and family gatherings.

Volunteering
Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre is in the process of developing a volunteer program. We are seeking volunteers who have experience or are interested in the areas of:
- Supporting exercise classes and walking groups
- Other special skills or interests
