This presentation removes the challenges of composting by explaining the basics and exploring different compost systems to find the right one for your needs. You’ll learn about the science of compost ratios in straightforward language; different commercially made compost systems and worm farms and learn which gardens they suit.

Includes examples of healthy compost and worm castings; useful resources to guide your further learning, and a follow-up document with links to resources and suppliers of compost-related equipment around Naarm/Melbourne.

And attendees will have a go at making some up-cycled items to use around the garden.
