Join us in one of the natural reserves to learn more about our native fauna, flora, fungi and the value of biodiversity conservation.

Dates and Venues

20 January 2027 - George Pentland Botanic Gardens
7 April 2027 - Belvedere Bushland Reserve
30 June 2027 - Baden Powell Bushland Reserve
29 September 2027 - Overport Park

Times

Session 1 - 10:00 am to 11:00 am (up to 7 years)
Session 2 - 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (8–12 years)
Session 3 - 1:00 pm to 2:00pm (mixed age group up to 18 years)

Cost

An adult is required to accompany all children under 18 years of age.

What to bring on the day?

Remember to dress for the weather and wear closed sturdy walking shoes, a hat and scarf, long pants and long sleeved top, a warm jacket or jumper, and a raincoat or umbrella if rain is forecast. Bring a nut free snack and a water bottle. You may like to bring a picnic lunch and stay for the day. Please note that activities may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions on the day.
