The program supports successful applicants by providing tailored training sessions, mentoring support, and the opportunity to pitch a business idea to a panel, culminating in an award ceremony where a grant to help start or grow their business could be awarded.
The Frankston City Entrepreneur Program offers a wide range of benefits for individuals, including developing crucial business skills such as:
Business and Strategic Planning
- Financial Literacy
- Branding and Marketing
- Digital Marketing & AI
- Revision and How to Pitch.
The program will also provide access to mentorship, networking opportunities, and resources to ensure the individual has the skills to walk away with and start or grow their own businesses.
After the mentoring sessions and pitch is complete, the top five successful participants could receive a grant of $10,000 to support their business venture (payment terms and conditions apply). Part of the program will be to work on a financial plan with a Mentor and discuss how the grant money could be used.
