Accessible Beaches

Australia’s Most Accessible Beach

To ensure people of all abilities – particularly those with disabilities and our ageing population – can enjoy our coastline with ease and dignity, Frankston City Council, partnering with Accessible Beaches Australia and with the support of the Frankston Social Inclusion Action Group, are bringing Australia’s Most Accessible Beach to the Frankston Foreshore this Summer.

Visitors will be able to enjoy beach matting extending to the water’s edge, complimentary beach wheelchairs and equipment, daybeds and cool cabanas, as well as trained staff ready to lend a hand.

If you would like to be kept updated on progress of Frankston City Beach Access projects and when bookings open, please email disability@frankston.vic.gov.au to join the mailing list.
