Community bus hire

From 1 May 2026 Council will no longer have a bus suitable for Not-for-Profit/Community Group Hire.

As part of Council’s recent decision to strengthen and expand our Community Transport and Outings Program, the Mayoral Community Bus will be upgraded and become part of our broader community transport fleet. This change will enable Council to deliver additional trips, outings, and transport support, ensuring a greater number of eligible residents across our municipality can access these valuable services.

Enquiries and requests for transport of individual residents via our existing Community Bus schedule should be directed to Community Care Intake 9784 1933.
