Community bus hire

Overview

Mini buses are available for hire to non profit organisations based within Frankston City.

Buses can be used for transport for  programs that benefit the community in the state of Victoria only. The buses seat 9 people plus the driver.


Eligibility

To be eligible to hire a community bus, your organisation must:

  • be a non profit organisation operating within Frankston City
  • provide a copy of your Certificate of Incorporation
  • nominate a driver who has a current full Victorian Driver's Licence
  • complete the application and provide a copy of their Driver's Licence before collecting the keys.

Please note that smoking on the buses is not allowed. Buses are not available to be driven to the snow fields. 


Fees

Fee Amount 
Hire fee per day  $137.20
 Bond  $100

Buses must be returned with a full petrol tank and must be cleaned and washed. 

It is the responsibility of your group to organise a daily E Tag Pass when driving on toll roads.

To make a booking, call our Bookings Officer on 03 9768 1681 to request an application.

Completed application forms must be received in full at least 5 working days before the hire date.
