Opening Hours

Monday and Friday

We help young people aged 12-24 years and their families within Frankston City municipality with support, information and referrals.

  • L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program 
    A program for young Learners to gain the necessary 120 hours required to gain their P’s.

School Term Activities

Mondays to Fridays: Drop In Program 10am-12pm and 3pm-4.30pm
At Youth Central we open for drop in Monday to Friday. You Can:

  • Play video games
  • Have fun playing pool
  • Talk to a youth worker
  • Meet with friends and make new ones!

Cost: Free

Tuesday to Thursday: Discovery Program 1-3pm
Youth Central open for Discovery Program between 1-3pm Tuesday to Thursday. During this time you can:

  • Drop in to explore learning and employment opportunities. 

We can also assist you with applications, licenses, budgeting, referrals and navigating red tape.

Cost: Free

School Holiday Programs

Each of the Hangouts offer a variety of activities throughout the school holidays.

Holiday activities for 12 - 17 year olds.
Many activities are free or low cost.

Bookings are currently open, please call Frankston Youth Central on 9768 1366.
Places are limited and all bookings, payments and forms are required to be returned to Frankston Youth Central (located next door to the Frankston Library: 60 Playne Street). 

School holiday activities will be available in the weeks leading up to the next holiday period.

Youth Grants

  • 2019 Applications are now CLOSED.

Youth Grants applications are open to young people aged 12-24 years living, working and studying in the Frankston area.

Successful recipients can receive up to $500 to help with educational and work related expenses such as materials for courses, fees, training and job equipment. All Youth Grants are subject to a selection criteria, and are allocated by a committee.

Student Placement

Frankston Youth Services offers Work Placement opportunities for tertiary students currently studying at a registered training organisation or education institution.
