R U OK day: September

A Conversation Could Change a Life.

R U OK? inspires us to connect and support the people around us who may be struggling. You don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener. Start the conversation by asking R U OK? and listen with an open mind.

Having regular, meaningful conversations with those close to you can stop small problems from turning into big ones. By checking in often, you build trust and make it normal to talk about what’s really going on. This way, when they’re struggling, they’ll know you’re someone they can turn to.

Fresh Frankston (Amplify):

Fresh Amplify host all-ages and underage music, arts and culture events. Our events are cheap, free, accessible, and safe. Bonus – they are also conceived and developed by young people who live in Frankston. If you’re interested in the specifics check out our Instagram
