Frankston Charitable Fund
The Frankston Charitable Fund was established as a charitable fund account of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation in 2009.
The fund aims to build capital and generate interest and dividends that provide funding to support the work of Frankston charities through a grants program. The fund capital is preserved in perpetuity and is invested and professionally managed by the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation. The money that is donated today will stay in the Frankston Charitable Fund corpus forever.
Committee of Management
Frankston City Council appointed three community representatives on the Frankston Charitable Fund Committee 2021-2024 at its Ordinary Meeting on August 30 2021. These are honorary positions for community members who live or work in Frankston City.

You may choose to participate in a workplace giving program through your employer and direct your donations to the Frankston Charitable Fund. Workplace giving donations are deducted from your salary before tax, potentially reducing your taxable income. That means you receive a tax benefit immediately rather than having to wait until the end of the financial year. Contact your Payroll Officer to deduct your nominated donation from your gross (pre-tax) salary each pay period.
Have you considered a bequest in your Will to the Frankston Charitable Fund? It's a wonderful way of leaving a lasting legacy in the Frankston community. It's a gift that keeps giving and will make a significant difference to the lives of people in need in Frankston.
If you are considering making a bequest to the Frankston Charitable Fund we recommend that you contact us first to discuss your wishes.
Another way to support the Frankston Charitable Fund is to host an fundraising event on behalf of the Fund. If you are interested in hosting an event please contact us to discuss this option.
