  • Fire Equipment Services (FES) offer a specialised recycling program for the safe and environmentally responsible disposal of various extinguishers up to max. 9kg (fees apply).
  • To check the eligibility of your extinguisher or for further details, view the Fire Rescue Victoria Website or contact FES on 1300 855 163 or via email.

The National Halon Bank

  • The Australian Government provides a free service for the collection and disposal of halon fire extinguishers surrendered within Australia.
  • Call 1800 658 084 to register halon for collection and for advice on the disposal of any other ozone depleting substances or synthetic greenhouse gases.
