Featuring plenty of free activities for young and primary-school aged children, it’s the perfect day out for the family.

Mayor Nathan Conroy said: “Council is proud to present this great family event – there’s no shortage of fun including the animal farm, face painting, cupcake decorating, bowling and mini golf, just to name a few

“There’s performances to get up and moving at our interactive stage arena, including Em’s World, PARC, The Bongo Brothers, Billy Tea Bush Band, Team Dream, Frankston City Libraries, Hey Dee Ho and more!

“With instruments from all over the world including Africa, India, and Indonesia, express yourself through music by picking up new skills with Rhythm Unites – you’ll be part of the ensemble in no time!

“With all of the activities on offer you’re going to build up an appetite. Enjoy tasty treats from the food trucks onsite, including our Community BBQ or bring your own picnic – being spoilt with the stunning gardens and surrounds, it’s the perfect excuse sit and enjoy your picnic while you soak in the surroundings,” the Mayor said.

Don’t forget to spin the wheel to go into the draw for your chance to win a Street Art Walking Tour double pass at the Frankston Visitor Information Centre caddy. You can also grab some souvenirs with plenty of “I Love Frankston” merchandise on offer.

The day doesn’t have to end here. After Party in the Park, why not visit the Sunset Twilight Market from 2pm – 7pm, located at the Frankston Foreshore. With plenty of market stalls, food trucks and entertainment, there is something for everyone!

Mayor Conroy said: “If you’re looking for other activities to do these school holidays, make sure you head to for events and activities.”
