This course will help you understand the basics of growing food sustainably and creating your dream garden by following permaculture principles and practices. The majority of sessions are held at Downs Community Farm, 190 Old Wells Rd, Seaford, providing opportunity for hands-on learning and experiences in positioning, preparing and planting garden beds, making wonderful compost, creating healthy soil and planting seeds and seedlings. There'll be also lots of discussion with others who share your passion for sustainable food! We commence with a full day session (9am to 5pm) at one of the best permaculture gardens in the local area.
