Job Purpose:

The Stylist provides a dressing service for our clients. This involves meeting clients (both physically and on-line) discussing with them their style preferences and needs and selecting a full outfit for the client to keep.

The Stylist undertakes this work in a non-judgemental way and engages with clients throughout the dressing experience with the aim of providing a safe environment for the client to relax and enjoy.

The Stylist also helps sort and assess stock that is donated. This also involves weighing donations, ironing, steaming and size-tagging of garments, and bagging up textile recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and ensure they feel welcome whether it is physically in the Dressing room or virtually on-line.
Assess what items of clothing the client needs
Find suitable outfits for the client and provide feedback throughout the dressing session.
Asking permission (and confirming in writing) to take photos of the client.
Packing up outfits for the client to take home, or post for virtual clients.
Completing DFSV paperwork as required for each client.
Discussing the benefits of the Career Hub and getting client sign-up.
Ensuring the Dressing and sorting areas are left tidy at the end of the day.
Performing end-of-shift cleaning activites.
Ensuring you sign in and out for each rostered shift.
Working within OH&S guidelines.
Following DFSV policies and procedures.

Key Skills Required:

Knowledge of DFSV’s full range of services available to clients
