Witternberg Reserve public toilet upgrade

  • Project scheduleFebruary 2026 - June 2026

Council will upgrade the existing toilet block to meet accessibility and safety standards and to support our community’s growing needs.

The new toilet facility will include:

  • One accessible toilet cubicle and one ambulant toilet cubicle and a family change room toilet cubicle
  • Higher privacy walls
  • Access Control & CCTV cameras

The existing toilet block will be closed during construction and temporary facilities will be provided near the play space.

This toilet block is identified as No. 1 on the medium priority upgrades list in Frankston’s Public Toilet Action Plan (PTAP) 2023.

This project complements recent upgrades at the reserve, including the new play space, BBQ area, shared user path, boardwalk, and car parking improvements delivered from the Witternberg Reserve and Robinsons Park Master Plan.

Both plans were informed by community feedback.

Works are planned to commence in February 2026 and due to be completed by June 2026. Work hours will be Monday – Friday between 7:00AM – 5:00PM.

Moderate noise and dust can be expected during the construction.
