What is a valuation?

A valuation is an assessment of the value of a property at a specific date (the current revaluation is based on your property value on 1 January 2024). 

Valuations are conducted by a qualified valuer. The value of each property is based on:  

• property sales which have occurred around the date of valuation 
• the quality and condition of the property, taking any improvements into consideration.
