Frankston City Council’s Positive Ageing team, in partnership with the library, is launching The Letterbox Project during Loneliness Awareness Week — a simple, meaningful way to help people connect through handwritten letters.

Hosted at Frankston Library, the project invites participants to write a short anonymous letter, exchange it, and optionally respond.

All correspondence is managed through the library, with no personal details shared, creating a safe and low‑pressure way to connect.

There will be a space set aside in the library for you to write and a special letterbox to post and receive letters.

Launch will be held Tuesday 4 August - information and instruction provided.
