Shared user path and foot path – Langwarrin
Project timing:
May- August 2025
Project details:
We’re improving pedestrian and bike rider safety - especially for local school children - in Langwarrin by building:
- A 2.5m wide, 200m long shared user path on North Road, connecting to the existing paths at Union Road and Warranwood Place and upgrading the guardrails over Boggy Creek (June – August)
- A 1.5 m wide, 520m long footpath from Delicia Street to Aqueduct Road along North Road and Centre Road (Late May - July).
Both projects are part of our Paths Development Plan and have been prioritised in response to community feedback. The works also build on the North Road/Union Road intersection improvements which were completed early in 2025.
The $1million safety improvements are fully funded by Council.
