Project Overview

The Sandfield Reserve Precinct Revitalisation (Master Plan implementation) was adopted as a key advocacy priority at the 15 November 2021 Council Meeting following extensive community consultation to inform key projects for implementation.

Key precinct improvements include:

  • An upgraded youth space with integrated public art
  • A new, fully enclosed play space
  • Further safety and amenity improvements, including a public toilet, greening, park lighting and community picnic area

Project Update

Our advocacy campaign throughout 2022 was successful at the state and federal elections in securing $1.3 million funding commitments from both levels of government alongside Council. 

The project will be completed in stages, with detailed design informed through community engagement.
