Sweetwater Creek Lower Nature Reserve

Location: Fenton Crescent, Frankston South
Melway Ref: 102 A6

Sweetwater Creek extends from the foothills of Frankston Reservoir to Port Philip Bay at the base of Olivers Hill. Thirteen hectares of remnant bushland surrounding the lower section of the creek is protected for its flora, fauna, geological and cultural heritage values. Walking tracks wind their way along the creek from swamps to steep gullies and floodplains to foothills.

Path Closure

Due to erosion and safety concerns, the Lower Sweetwater Creek Track has been closed until further notice. The affected area is from the track junction at the Grange Bridge track along to the Granites.
The Granites can still be accessed in multiple ways - please use the below map to plan your visit.

We appreciate your patience while we work to find a long-term solution to this issue.
