What is a Pop up Playgroup?

Pop up Playgroups are free for everyone to attend.

Our sessions are facilitated by our experienced early childhood team and are aimed at children 0 – 6 years.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for you and your children to make new friends, explore your local parks, and discover a world of learning and fun that Playgroups have to offer. A variety of activities will be on offer to suit varying needs of children such as:

  • Music
  • Craft
  • Physical play
  • Imaginary play
  • Story time

You will also have the opportunity to speak to the team about Community Playgroups, Supported Playgroups and Kindergartens in your local area.

Sessions will be run in all weather so please dress appropriately to the conditions. Please note that in extreme weather, Pop Up Playgroups will be cancelled.

Bookings are not required. Please remember your hats, water, and snacks.

Frankston

Ballam Park Water Play Park and Playground

Location: 260R Cranbourne Road, Frankston

Time: 9.30am – 11.30am

Weather permitting there will be water play. Towels, spare change of clothes might be required.

Skye

Lady Emily Reserve Playground

Location: 12R Lady Emily Way, Skye

Time: 9.30am – 11.30am

Perfect space for bikes and scooters. Feel free to bring them along.

Pop up Baby Playgroups are free for everyone to attend.

Our sessions are facilitated by our experienced early childhood team and are aimed at children 0 – 12 months.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for you and your baby  to make new friends, explore your local area, and discover a world of learning and fun that Playgroups have to offer. A variety of activities will be on offer to suit varying needs of babies such as:

  • Music
  • Craft
  • Physical play
  • Imaginary play
  • Story time

You will also have the opportunity to speak to the team about Community Playgroups, Supported Playgroups and Kindergartens in your local area.
