Customer service and service centres will be closed from Friday the 3rd of April and will reopen on Tuesday the 7th of April.
Council’s Parks and Vegetation Team have identified a number of concrete pipes in Langwarrin Equestrian Reserve that contain non-friable asbestos.
While the identified asbestos presents a low risk to the public, Council adopts a proactive response to issues of community safety and is managing the removal in line with all relevant guidelines.
Council has engaged a licensed contractor to remove the affected pipes with works commencing on 24 February 2020.
It is anticipated that the reserve will be closed to the public on the day of removal.
