The completed play space and upgraded facilities include:

Feature train
Relocated BBQ
Relocated drinking fountain
Playground fencing
New picnic settings, shelter, bench seating,
Extensive tree planting
New paths
Bicycle racks
Pathway lighting
Play space shade
Original Whistlestop artwork and historical interpretive signage panels to commemorate the Whistlestop Amusements that stood on this site in the 1960’s and 70’s (to be installed on 31 August 2024).

The feature wall, corner entrance artwork, landscaping and some additional concrete paths, an additional picnic setting, and signage will be in place by October 2024.
