Synthetic Multi-purpose Sporting Field
A new $2.8 million synthetic multi-purpose sporting field featuring a central cricket wicket, lighting, fencing and various line markings is scheduled to be completed in mid-November. This is another partnership with the Victorian Government who have provided $500,000 alongside Council's $2.3 million.
The synthetic surface will revolutionise the playing and training experience for sporting clubs. The development will include lighting for night matches and will be available year-round for sporting groups and clubs.
