Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre is a multi-service children's and family services hub located in the heart of Karingal.

The centre offers many services including Maternal Child Health, Kindergarten, Frankston City Library and Story Time. 

U3A (University of the Third Age) is also located at Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre, and offers a broad range of programs for people not in full time employment.

We need your feedback!

To help us develop activities, programs and services that best meet your needs and interests, Council is seeking your feedback on the Karingal PLACE Neighbourhood Centre.

Neighbourhood Centres provide a range of programs and services to meet the needs of the people living in the local community.

• Social (parenting/family support)

• Health and wellbeing (exercise, healthy living, mental health)

• Learning (e.g. developing skills/education)

Services currently operating out of Karingal PLACE include:

• Maternal Child Health services

• Immunisation

• Community Kinders Plus (CKP)

• Library programs, including Storytime

• University of the Third Age (U3A) further learning for older residents

The Centre also offers community programs and a large stadium, which can be hired out by the public both after school hours and on weekends.

Stadium Hire

Our Multipurpose Indoor Stadium can be adapted to suit many sports, including basketball, martial arts and karate.  The Stadium is available for hire after 4pm weeknights and all weekend. Priority is given to local community groups and not for profit organisations. We are unable to cater for birthday parties and family gatherings.
