Frankston City residents now have greater face-to-face access to Council, with the official re-opening of the Langwarrin Customer Service Centre today welcomed by the local community.
The renovation of the service centre comes 20 years after its initial opening, located in Langwarrin’s The Gateway Shopping Centre.
Now featuring a fresh new look boasting an open plan environment creating a friendlier welcome for customers, improved amenities and safety for all and the introduction of an Enhanced Maternal and Child Health service, the centre is a one-stop-shop for locals.
According to Frankston City Mayor Colin Hampton, the upgrade will allow staff to provide even better customer service for the over 5,000 interactions made at the centre each year.
“Langwarrin became a part of Frankston City in 1994 and the service centre has been one of the really successful ways that Council has been able to connect with local residents.”
“Not only do we process a variety of transactions for residents and ratepayers, the service centre acts as a community hub for members to connect with others and escape the everyday worry with our friendly staff.”
“Council is committed to ensuring our residents get the support they’re looking for in a welcoming and friendly environment, and this upgrade delivers on this commitment.”
