Power up your knowledge at Council’s solar and batteries webinar

Monday 23 November 2020

If you want to learn more about solar, from someone who isn’t trying sell it to you, tune in to Council’s Solar and Batteries Webinar tomorrow (Tuesday 24 November).

Newly elected Frankston City Councillor, Liam Hughes, said the online session would provide residents with independent advice on whether solar and batteries are the right choice for their homes.

“With rising electricity costs and solar becoming more affordable, there's never been a better time to consider solar power,” Cr Hughes said.

“We’ve partnered up with the Australian Energy Foundation, a not-for-profit which provides advice and information to help people make their homes more energy efficient.”

The free, online information session, Introduction to solar and batteries, will help you:

  • understand how solar and batteries work
  • find out how to get the right system for your home
  • learn about expected savings and payback
  • understand how to claim the government rebates

Participants from Council’s last solar and batteries webinar (in April), provided the following feedback about the session:

“Very informative, with thorough answers to our questions.”

“I liked the amount of details given via excellent diagrams and explanations.”

“The presenter was well experienced.”

“Good basic info, for people who knew a bit, but wanted to know more.”

“I liked the detailed practical and current energy advice.”
