No fake news at Frankston City Libraries

The librarians at Frankston City Libraries have selected a vast range of amazing and useful resources.

With your FREE library membership, you can find real facts, satisfy your curiosity, learn new skills, launch a journey of discovery, and inspire your creativity.

During 2018, savvy library members made use of the FREE online resources and tools more than 150,000 times.

These include:

  • Encyclopaedias such as Britannica and Explora
  • Duolingo for learning languages
  • Lynda.com for learning about business, technology, and creative skills
  • Ancestry and Find My Past for family history research
  • PubMed and Cochrane Medical Centre for medical information
  • Storybox for videos of children’s books read by Australian identities
  • Choice magazine online for consumer product advice
  • Freegal for music downloads
  • A huge range of fiction and non-fiction titles available in ebook and audio-ebook
