Overnight we sadly lost one of our community’s most respected advocates, and founder of the much-loved Frankston Community Noticeboard Facebook page.
Following an arduous and ongoing battle with cancer, this inspiring woman passed away surrounded by her friends and family, on her own terms and demonstrating the same strength and determination she had become known and admired for.
She was a wonderful mother, wife, friend and a valued member of the Frankston City community, and she will be dearly missed.
As a Council, we will be forever grateful for the work she put into improving Frankston not only for her own family, but for all residents, including the four-legged variety.
She was a humble person, who was passionate about supporting community-focused initiatives and local families, evidenced through her work driving upgrades to Nat’s Track and shining a spotlight on the tragic and unresolved disappearance of Sarah MacDiarmid.
Thank you for always being an ardent believer in Frankston, and for never shying away from an issue that could reap great outcomes for our city.
Your legacy will live on through all you have achieved, and through your two beautiful children whom love you with all their hearts.
(Please note, the name of the community advocate has been withheld at the request of the deceased.)
