Frankston City Council took home a Silver Award for Council’s 2017-2018 Annual Report at the recent Australasian Reporting Awards at Crown Palladium.
Frankston City Mayor, Michael O’Reilly praised officers for their exceptional work on the 2017-2018 Annual Report.
“Once again Frankston City has produced an outstanding Annual Report, and this year that’s been recognised with a Silver at the Australasian Reporting Awards,” said the Mayor.
“Council’s Annual Report is developed each year and every department is involved in providing the information that is included. I was proud to accept the award on behalf of everyone involved.
“This is a wonderful achievement by all involved and an impressive accolade for Council.”
To receive a Silver Award a report must provide quality coverage of most of the Australasian Reporting Awards criteria, satisfactory disclosure of key aspects of its business and outstanding disclosure in at least one major area.
This is the second time Frankston City Council has achieved Silver in the past five years.
While officers are enjoying the recognition of their hard work, the process of developing the 2018-2019 Annual Report is already underway.
The 2017-2018 Annual Report was presented to Council at the Ordinary Meeting on 1 July, 2019 and can be downloaded from the Frankston City Council website: www.frankston.vic.gov.au/AnnualReport
