Council’s customer service centres in Frankston and Langwarrin reopened to the public today (Monday 9 November).
Frankston City Council CEO, Phil Cantillon, said he was excited Council had again opened its doors to the community.
“In line with the State Government Roadmap, we finalised a plan to safely reopen our customer service centres at the Civic Centre and Langwarrin Gateway Shopping Centre today.
“COVID-safe measures are in place to protect our staff and the community.”
Mr Cantillon added that Seaford Community Centre would remained closed for the moment, due to IT works currently being completed.
“I am also pleased to confirm that PARC teams have expanded and reopened some of their services, including the indoor centre, in line with capacity limits.”

“The safety of our staff and community is our highest priority, and as mentioned, COVID Safe Plans are in place for each location, to ensure that State Government requirements are met,” Mr Cantillon said.
When visiting Council’s customer service centres, members of the public should wear face masks, maintain a distance of 1.5 metres between themselves and others and practice good hygiene, including ensuring their hands are clean and sanitised.
“We have all been looking forward to welcoming our community back. These services are so important to residents, and their reopening signifies a gradual and controlled return to our normal lives.”
