Bathing Box and Boat Shed - Licence Agreement Renewals

Tuesday 5 June 2018

Frankston City Bathing Box and Boat Shed Licence holders will soon be receiving renewal letters via post.

The current licence agreements for all 60 of the municipality's Bathing Boxes and Boat Sheds will expire shortly.

In accordance with DELWP requirements, all occupancies of Crown land must be formalised via an occupancy agreement.

In the case of Bathing Boxes and Boatsheds, the relevant occupancy document is a Licence agreement pursuant to the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978.

The licence term of three (3) years commences 1 July, 2018.

The new Licence agreement terms and conditions are the same as the current Licence  agreement, and are as prescribed by DELWP. Therefore the conditions of the Licence cannot be amended, and are the same for all occupiers.

Renewal letters will contain the following documents:

  • New Licence agreement in respect of your Bathing Box/Boatshed (two (2) copies)
Please sign both copies and return to Council for execution in the attached Express Post envelope
  • Contact information sheet
Please complete the request for contact information, and return with your paperwork.
