Proposed Discontinuance - Part of Plowman Place, Frankston

Notice is hereby given that at its meeting on 24 April 2019, and in the proposed exercise of powers, duties and functions conferred by sections 206, Schedule 10, clause 3, 207A(a) and 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act), Council approved the commencement of the statutory process to consider whether or not to discontinue that section of Plowman Place, Frankston, as shown hatched in the plan below (road).

A detailed survey plan is available to view on Council’s website, at the Civic Centre (30 Davey Street, Frankston) or upon request.

If the road is discontinued, the land will be transferred to the Crown for consolidation with the adjoining Frankston Park Reserve.

This would not impact existing traffic or car parking arrangements.
