Excelsior Drive Shopping Strip Improvement Works

Council plans to refurbish the Excelsior Drive Shopping Centre in 2021.  A landscape concept plan has been prepared to illustrate the following key elements of the project:

  • Replace existing asphalt paving with high quality concrete paving;
  • Enhanced pedestrian connectivity by aligning pedestrian cross-overs in the car park and Excelsior Drive;
  • New street furniture including seats, bins, and bicycle racks;
  • New public lighting;
  • New tree planting in outstands to provide shade to the footpaths and car park.

For additional information, please download the Information Sheet in which more details are provided including the concept plan.  The information sheet also includes the project timelines and how the works will be funded.

If you have any further comments or queries in relation to the concept plans, please contact us via the details below.
