Dog Off-leash Area at Sandfield Reserve

As part of the Capital Works Program for this financial year, Frankston City Council has received funding from Victorian Government through economic stimulus package to design and build Dog Off-Leash Area at Sandfield Reserve Carrum Downs. Council aims to make sure that Sandfield Reserve provides ample opportunities for the community to use the reserve to its maximum potential.

Proposed location of the Dog Park, in the park, provides a passive, surveillance across the reserve; retain other parts of the park for other, recreation uses - e.g. the large grass area to, the north as a kick about space. In addition to the Dog Park Project, Council also aims to include a new DDA accessible path, connection and improves circulation throughout the reserve.

Timeline

Project will be designed and delivered before July 2021
