Born in Toyko, Japan and study at Kyoto Municipal University of Fine Arts. In recent years, he has been pursuing a theme, transfiguration, which is a change of figures and shapes, and also means transforming into ideal forms.
Grand Prize Sanda International Sculpture Competition 1995. Kyoto National MoMA Award 1997. Kyoto Arts and Sculpture Award 2003. Represented in Holmes à Court Collection. SxS Bondi and SxS Cottesloe numerous times since 2004. SxS Aarhus 2011.
