South Side Festival
Frankston City Council (FCC) is excited to announce its new 2022 signature event: South Side Festival that will run from Friday 6 May to Sunday 15 May, 2022.
South Side Festival will offer a comprehensive program of thought-provoking curated art, cultural, heritage and food experiences across multiple venues and spaces that will transform Frankston city, whilst providing opportunities for existing events, local businesses and locally grown content to flourish.
FCC is seeking to support the presentation of an arts, cultural and/or heritage project/event in two categories: Locally Grown Content and Large Scale Community Engagement. The successful applicant for each category will receive $25,000.00 funding and council support to present their project within the festival period.
Information on each of these opportunities is below with links to the application process.
If these categories do not currently align with your practice and capacity look out for other opportunities that will be announced soon, including four x $5,000.00 Artistic Commissions.
Locally Grown Content

Does your project demonstrate artistic integrity, uniqueness and innovation in creative output? Think outside the box and pitch the unexpected!
