How much will the Festival and activities cost?
It’s free to attend Frankston’s Christmas Festival of Lights, however, patrons should bring some money in case they would like to purchase food, drink, items at the market, candles or ride tickets.
Can I drink alcohol at the Festival?
No. Alcohol is not permitted within the festival site. Police and festival staff will take a zero-tolerance approach.
Can I smoke at the Festival?
No. Smoking is not permitted within the festival site.
Will there be security at the Festival?
Yes. Police and crowd-control professionals will be monitoring the event and taking a zero-tolerance approach to unruly behaviour.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes. Food and drinks will be located within the Gingerbread Lane Festival Dining Precinct on Young St, Rudolph’s Children’s Zone at the corner of Davey and Young Street (opposite Frankston Arts Centre) and at Little Beauty Christmas Market in Beauty Park. Vendors will be selling a wide range of food and drinks.
Where will the market be located?
The Little Beauty Christmas Market will consist of over 70 stalls and be located in Beauty Park on the corner of Young and High Streets, behind the Civic Centre.
Where can I find the toilets?
Public toilets will be available along Davey Street, Young Street, Plowman Place and Beauty Park. Permanent facilities will be open within Cube 37, Frankston Arts Centre and Frankston Library. Accessible toilets are available at each of these locations. Download an event site map from the Council website for more information or collect a copy at the event from the Information Marquee located on Davey Street in front of the Civic Centre.
Can I bring my dog to the festival?
No. Pets are not permitted within the festival site. All pets in areas surrounding the event site should be secured by 9:15pm in preparation for the fireworks display between 9.15pm and 9.30pm.
Will there be an ATM on site?
Yes. ATM’s are located at the Little Beauty Christmas Market in Beauty Park and Gingerbread Lane Festival Dining area near the Civic Centre on the corner of Davey and Young Streets.
