Healthier Options at Council Events
Frankston City Council is working towards having a wider range of healthier food and drink options available at Council run events.
The Healthy Eating Advisory Service provides information on why vendors should consider offering healthier options and specific actions on how to achieve this.
Stallholders wishing to be a part of the 2020-2021 event season will have to complete a Food Checker menu assessment to submit in your application. To view the assessment website, please see the link below:
Waste Wise at Events
Frankston City Council has adopted a Waste Wise Events Policy to help minimise waste and litter at our events. We can all reduce waste and litter by avoiding single use items (including all plastic bags, polystyrene food and beverage packaging) and balloons. The new policy will be enforced for the 2020/2021 event season.
