This year at the Mayor's Family Picnic, we are excited to offer a range of children’s activities, food trucks and stalls, live musical performances, a licensed bar, local crafts and plenty of market stalls, interactive activities and more. There is plenty to see and do.

Here are some of the offerings:

  • The Bandwagon Stage features a wide range of entertainment options, including Frankston-based X-factor runner-up Andrew Wishart, teen vocalist CC Dewar, Sanctuary Duo (DJ Brittany Leo and musician Daniel Johnson), Welcome to Country and Joshua Batten. Fem & Casey have turned a vintage ute into a swingin’ curb-side, jazz club (well… jazz and anything else that can fit on the back of a Triton).
  • On the acoustic stage, you can enjoy up-and-coming teen LGBT singer/songwriter Kaiyah Mercedes, Seaford-raised guitarist/vocalist Trevor Bartle, Harmony Thomas-Brown and Johnny Keenan.
  • The Strong Sisters Sportsfest is a Come and Try event for mothers/mother figures and daughters which will run in conjunction with the Mayor’s Family Picnic. A number of local, state, sports and recreation organisations will be there.
  • Becky Bubble invites audiences of all ages to immerse themselves in a wonderful world of swirling rainbows as she creates large bubbles and teaches you how to make your own giant bubbles.
  • Roving performers on stilts by Stilltainment - the stilt divas are trained in gymnastics, circus, dance, trampolining, acting and theatre.
  • Riverscape is a beautiful interactive pop up play space with 50 amazing realistic replica rocks offering an open-ended play experience for kids of all ages.
