A Safe Community Workshop

We're developing a Safe Community Policy and Strategy and want to hear from our community to identify key priorities and areas of focus for the next 10 years.

The workshop will be held at the Lyrebird Community Centre, 203 Lyrebird Dr, Carrum Downs. Lunch will be provided following the engagement session.

This workshop provides an opportunity for you to share your experiences of safety in your local community. You can contribute your ideas and add to the vision for a safer community.

You can join a discussion group on one of the following topics to give your feedback and ideas:

• Emergency preparedness, response and recovery.
• Safety in public places and Frankston City.
• Addressing harm from alcohol and other drugs, gambling, road trauma violence and crime.
• Family violence, intimate partner violence, elder abuse.
• Reducing homelessness – in particular rough-sleeping homelessness.
• Creating inclusive and well connected communities where everyone feels welcome.
