Frankston Housing Strategy

Frankston Housing Strategy 2018

The Frankston Housing Strategy 2018 sets out a range of initiatives to accommodate the expected increase in population up to 2036 and beyond.

It seeks to provide for a range of housing types to meet the needs of the diverse Frankston City households over this planning period.

Key objectives are to maintain a steady supply of new housing that is affordable and fit for purpose, while protecting and enhancing the quality of residential amenity and neighbourhood character across Frankston City’s different suburbs. The final version was adopted by Council at its Ordinary Meeting on 4 June 2018.
