Whether you live or work in Frankston City, or study or visit here, we want to hear from you. The Community Vision provides you with an opportunity to share your aspirations to influence the future of Frankston City over the next 20 years to 2040.
What is a Community Vision?
A Community Vision captures what the community values most about their community and sets out their key priorities and aspirations for the future. Once developed, the Community Vision will form part of Council’s strategic planning framework, ensuring that the community’s vision for the future of Frankston City is considered in Council’s strategic planning and decision making.

In particular, the vision will help to shape the strategic priorities and directions in the four-year Council Plan to be established at the start of each Council term.
The Community Vision also ensures Council continues to work towards the same overarching vision with our existing partnerships with organisations and sectors in the community, such as not-for-profits, service organisations and local businesses.
How will the Community Vision be developed?
There are five stages of engagement for the development of the Community Vision for Frankston City 2040. This process will also be used to guide the development of the Council Plan 2021-2025.
