Due to COVID-19 Community Gardens are not taking on new members or visitors.  Please contact your local garden via phone or email for their latest news.

Community Gardens are a community space where people come together to grow their own fruit and vegetables and learn about gardening.

Some people have their own plots, others share a plot. All community gardens are different, that is part of their charm, they may include:

  • Sensory garden
  • Cooking facilities
  • Accessible/disability friendly
  • Social activities
  • Training
  • Art projects
  • Seed saving
  • Family days
  • Working bees
  • Individual and group plots
  • Links to other groups
  • Undercover area
