Riviera... a hidden treasure

Situated at the end of a quiet no-through road and surrounded by a huge yard. It is tucked away from the bustle of suburbia making it an ideal place for children to learn and play.

Rivera's magnificent yard is complete with large shady trees and a range of outdoor equipment where children can choose to play house in the gingerbread cottage, follow the trickle stream in the secret garden, dig in the digging patch, swing, slide, climb, grow vegetables, ride around our wonderful new bike track or just relax in the rotunda. Inside is a spacious, air-conditioned kindergarten room, where children learn and create with varied experiences that are fun, stimulating and planned to stimulate the children's interests.

Our large, engaging outdoor space encourages children's connectedness to nature. The local environment in Seaford boasts beautiful beaches and wetlands and we aim to reflect this natural beauty in both our indoor and outdoor environments.

We see parent involvement as an embedded practice at the Kindergarten. Families are encouraged to be as involved as they can with numerous opportunities to be included in everything from the program to governanace through the Committee of Management. These collaborative partnerships are extended to the local community. Seaford Kindergarten has strong links with local organisations, schools and services which enhance the program and operation of our service.
