Registering your dog or cat helps us to reunite you quickly if they become lost.
If your pet is already registered with Frankston City Council, we will send you a letter each year in March when your pet registration is due for renewal.
You will need the details from your renewal notice to make the payment.
You can renew your pet registration in the following ways:

You can pay by cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS or Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) in person.
Present your renewal notice with payment at any Council Customer Service Centre. See the Visit Us page to find your nearest Customer Service Centre.
Using a Visa, Mastercard or debit card you can call 1300 721 138. Please have your renewal notice on hand.
Follow the instructions on your renewal notice to pay by mail.

Please note: If the owner of a dog or cat is under the age of 18 years then their parent or guardian is to be listed as the pet owner, as per the Domestic Animals Act 1994.

Please note: You cannot register Restricted Breed, Declared Dangerous or Declared Menacing dogs online – please call us for advice.
