Community Connector Program for over 55's

Frankston City Council’s Community Connector Program involves volunteers supporting residents to engage in their local community through available activities, programs or groups. Community Connector Volunteers contact activity coordinators on your behalf and assist with the process of joining a new group or activity within the area. They can even attend the new activity or group with you until you settle in and feel comfortable to attend on your own.

Who is this for? Anyone who is over the age of 55 or caring for someone over the age of 55 who is interested in finding out what activities are available in their community.

There is a variety of activities and groups that a Community Connector Volunteer can link you with, including:

  • Exercise classes
  • Computer classes
  • Friendship groups
  • Craft Groups
  • Seniors Clubs
  • Volunteering, and much, much more

For more information please contact Council’s Positive Ageing Team on 9768 1624 or download the Community Connector Program Flyer(PDF, 426KB).
