Food waste can be placed in your garden waste bin as of October.

Our food waste collection service turns your household food waste into nourishing compost for Victorian farmers.

Simply place your food waste into your caddy, then empty the food waste contents into your garden waste bin.

If you have a Council garden waste bin, you are eligible to order your FREE benchtop kitchen caddy and liners.

How do I get my FREE caddy and liners

Only households with a garden waste bin are eligible.  

Option 1: 

You can collect your caddy and liners from any of the following locations from Monday 16 September:

Proof of residency will need to be shown on collection.

Option 2:

You can also register online to have your caddy and liners delivered free of charge to your home in October.  Delivery will take up to ten business days.
