The modern Centre will appeal not only to Frankston City residents but residents from other areas including Pearcedale, Cranbourne, Clyde, Carrum, Chelsea and beyond. The Centre also accepts small quantities of business waste.
The Centre also accepts small quantities of business waste, paint and paint tins.
FRRRC Is not a landfill site. No food, liquid or hazardous waste accepted.

The Centre takes a wide range of materials and a discounted charge for hard waste applies to Frankston City residents. Residents must show a valid driver’s license as proof of residency. The Centre will also take a number of items for free.
Composted Green Waste
All green waste from FCC is bulk composted and blended near Sale to be used by farmers throughout SE Victoria. FRRRC does not sell mulch, compost or other garden products.
Treasure Chest Shop
A Covid Safe Plan, in line with State Government restrictions, will be in place including:
- An attendance register
- Separate entrance and exit
- Restriction of 10 customers inside
- 1.5metres social distancing
- A face mask must be worn
- Card payments preferred
The Frankston Regional Recycling and Recovery Centre is also home to a Treasure Chest shop. It sells recovered furniture, household goods and bric-a-brac. This is a must-see destination for bargain hunters and anyone who has a good eye for items that can be restored/up-cycled.
